Education
A critical shortage of organ donors persists alongside a growing need of support. Every 13 minutes, someone is added to the waiting list totaling 1156 each and every day. Community outreach and awareness remains paramount to support the transplant community.
Research
Advancements in the field of transplantation have increased the possibilities for those with end-stage organ failure to receive a transplant and have a second chance at life. FOTA seeks to fund research efforts seeking to discover and develop new methods to reduce and eliminate the use of immunosuppressant drugs.
